What's New @ VanSach Rottweilers - 2001

December 2001
What's New.

We closed out this year at the Cleveland Crown Classic, December 13 - 16. Both dogs placed in the ribbons the first three days with Juliet taking First Place in American Bred at the Emerald Valley Rottweiler Club Winter Specialty.

Juliet faired well her first time out in the Canadian ring, collecting her first Canadian points with a Best of Opposite Sex win at Kent Kennel Klub's November show. That same weekend, Walker won Best of Opposite Sex at the American Rottweiler Club 2001 Region II Specialty Sweepstakes.

We have been quite happy with our success in the show ring in 2001. Considering that Juliet is currently 16 months and Walker is only 13 months, we hope to be more competitive with maturity this coming year. We hope everyone has had a good holiday.

Happy New Year,

Tom, Shannon, Juliet & Walker @ VanSach Rottweilers

It's A Boy!

VanSach Rottweilers is proud to announce the newest member of our family: SL's Moonwalker. Born November 24, 2000, Walker Jr., is currently 10 months old. See our updated picture page at www.vansach.com

Walker was shown at the Chicago Working Rottweiler show on October 6, 2001, and won Best Puppy Male. Judge Jurgen Wolf, ADRK, judged him under the FCI Rottweiler standard. Judge Wolf Rated Walker VP-1, or Very Promising Puppy. Linda M. Wright handled him. This was Walker's first German style show.

Walker has been shown in the AKC ring twice at the Monroe & Ann Arbor Kennel Club shows September 29 & 30, 2001, winning his class both times out.

We have great expectations for our new boy, watch here for the good news.

Juliet takes Reserve Winners at Ann Arbor.

Juliet won Reserve Winners Bitch at the Ann Arbor Kennel Club show today under Judge Eric J. Ringle. She was beaten out by R Knockout or "Shine" as she is called, who finished her AKC Champion title with this win. Congratulations are due to Dave & Denise Nelson and S. Deloof & T. Ausloose and their Champion.

Juliet will be shown next at the 2001 MRC specialty. She will return to the UKC ring on November 3 & 4 competing in the Champion of Champions class. Additionally, Juliet will debut in the CKC November 16, 17 & 18. Wish us luck and watch here for good news.

Juliet does it again!!!

Juliet takes Best of Opposite Sex again at Sundays Saginaw Valley Kennel Club show. Joann Davis, who thankfully braved illness to make it to the show, handled her. Juliet has amassed (3) points towards her AKC Champion title in just 9 days showing out of the 12 - 18 month class. In her four times out she has taken Reserve Winners, Best of Winners and an astounding (3) Best of Opposites!

We will be exhibiting Juliet next weekend at the St. Clair Kennel Club show. She will be handled by her breeder, Linda M. Wright. Juliet's buddy, Doc, or VonStallog's "Vonbaker Jekyll v Tapferherz", will be competing in obedience. Doc will, of course, be shown by Joann Davis. Check back for good news.

Juliet takes Best of Winners and Best of Opposite Sex!!

Juliet collected her second AKC point this morning at the Saginaw Valley Kennel Club show. She took Best of Winners and Best of Opposite Sex, her second in three shows. Her breeder, Linda M. Wright, to whom we owe great thanks, handled Juliet. Juliet will show again tomorrow at the Saginaw Valley Kennel Club show. Wish us luck and watch here for good news ;-)

Juliet turns One & Goes Best of Opposite!

Our Juliet turned one year on August 30, 2001. Her first time out in the 12-18 month class, Juliet surprised us by winning her first AKC point. She went Best of Opposite on Saturday and Reserve Winners on Sunday at Livonia Kennel Club's September 1st & 2nd show. Of course, we owe thanks to a very proud Joann Davis who handled Juliet.

Juliet's breeder, Linda Wright, will be showing her at the Saginaw Valley Kennel Club show this weekend and the St. Clair Kennel Club show the following weekend. Wish us luck... Juliet is maturing into quite a fine Rottweiler. We have high hopes for her at this year's Medallion Rottweiler Club Specialty Show in October. So check back for good news and don't forget to wish us luck ;-)

UKC Conformation Champion Wright's Kind Juliet VanSach.

Juliet received her UKC Show Champion title this past weekend at the UKC Premier. She was shown as a Champion for the first time on Sunday, competing in the Champion of Champions class and won Reserve! She beat the UKC's current #3 Bitch Ch. Big Country's Stormy Jade, who was #2 in 2000, among others, to bring this ribbon home on Father's Day. Juliet's UKC career has had quite an exceptional start. She is a multi-BOW winner and Reserve Champion of Champions winner beating 2 top 10 dogs and 1 special her first time out as a special herself. She finished her Conformation Champion title in 3 days/4 shows and all out of the puppy classes.

We have enjoyed showing in the UKC and plan a limited showing in the future in order to compete for her Grand Champion and obedience titles. We have also been showing Juliet in the AKC, and soon, the CKC in hopes of obtaining respective titles. We think Juliet is really something special and enjoy showing her as a hobby. We feel she that has the potential to be a top conformation and obedience dog in any venue. But of course, she is our companion first and foremost. Juliet lives in our home currently as our only pet and travels with us often. She is exactly what we were looking for in a Rottweiler and we have to thank Linda Wright of Wright's Rottweilers for letting us have her.

What's New.

Juliet was shown this past weekend at the Mount Pleasant, Michigan Kennel Club's show and took Reserve Winners Bitch on Saturday.

Thankfully, Juliet was not in heat for this show. She began her first heat cycle the night before her very first show at the Progressive Dog Club's April 28th show. She endured this heat for an entire month, ending the weekend of the Kalamazoo Kennel Club's May 27th show.

Juliet will be attending the UKC Premier this weekend, so wish her luck. She currently has 95 points, winning (2) Best of Winners and (1) Best Female, all with competition, in the (3) UKC shows she has attended. She may earn her UKC Conformation Champion title this weekend with only a First Place in her Puppy class. But of course, we are hoping for a Best in Show ;-) Watch for CH Wright's Kind Juliet VanSach to compete in the Champion of Champions class for her Grand Championship.
